Katherine Jackson, the 79-year-old matriarch of the Jackson family, has decided its time to clean out the nest.
Michael's kids
Prince,
Paris and
Blanket will stay at the mansion, but she's asking
Alejandra Oaziaza and her four children to move out, TMZ reports.
Alejandra was married to
Jermaine Jackson, until their divorce. Six years ago! Kath, what took you so long? I mean, I ain't sayin' she's a gold digger, but...
At least Alejandra isn't going to have to do anything degrading, like, say, work. She'll be living in a condo owned by the Jacksons in L.A.'s San Fernando Valley. Also moving will be her children with Jermaine Jackson--
Jaafar, 13, and
Jermajesty, 9--and her son with Jackson brother
Randy (!),
Randy Jr., 18.
The destination of Alejandra's daughter with Randy,
Genevieve, 21, is unknown, but teenager
Dante, whose relationship to the Jacksons has never been officially explained, will go with Alejandra. The future of 25-year-old Norweigan rapper
Omar, who first met Michael Jackson in 1996 and went on to live with the singer, is unknown.
The big move was decided upon after child services investigated claims that Jaafar had threatened his MJ-descended cousins with a stun gun. Katherine has since accepted that under those living arrangements it was only a matter of time until the kids staged a coup against the grownups.
This is hugely encouraging news for Michael's kids. This is going to be the most normal environment they've ever lived in. Of course, they'll still be home-schooled in a mansion and babysat by a Nation of Islam senior who goes by
Sister Rose. But anything without masks is an improvement, right?
