Jen's staying in a waterfront villa at the One & Only Palmilla resort to celebrate her 41st birthday on Thursday, engaging in such Jen-like activities as lounging in a bikini and exercising. Other celebrity guests included David Arquette and Courteney Cox (who, ahem, Star magazine, wasn't looking especially second-trimester), and upcoming Cougar Town guest star Sheryl Crow.

Gerard has said in the past that he would be lucky to date Jen, but actually hadn't. They presented an award together at the Golden Globes, and the New York Post said they were smooching like nobody's business backstage. But Us reports he got Kate Hudson's number that same night. So they're off to a good start.

Jen rang in New Year's 2009 in Los Cabos too, but while that trip included usual suspects Courteney, David and Sheryl, John Mayer was Jen's vacation date. This is becoming quite the Jen tradition!
