Mama Mia star
Amanda Seyfried doesn't like to talk about her personal life, preferring instead to let the
film stills of her making out with
Julianne Moore tell their own story.
But certain people (well, certain British journalists) are speculating that the 24-year-old has called it off with her
Mama Mia co-star
Dominic Cooper, 31, after dating for over a year.
While promoting her romantic drama
Dear John, she said her co-star
Channing Tatum was lucky to have married his true love,
Step Up's
Jenna Dewan, last summer. "True love is your truest friend and the person you want to spend every moment with," she said recently, according to Showbiz Spy. "It is alright for people like Channing Tatum, he has found it." So if she hasn't broke up with Dominic, than, well, ouch.
It was believed the couple had split last summer, when someone claimed to have caught Dominic kissing a co-star backstage while performing the classic Greek play
Phaedra. Amanda didn't make things any clearer by dancing around the possibility of a breakup in
Allure magazine that August. "Things end. Things end," she said (yes-twice! It was that serious!). "And we're in a weird business. We're surrounded by just strange people, strange influences."
Dominic clarified in October that they never broke up. "Amanda and I are still very much together," he told the
Daily Mail. "I'm working in Dorset on my new film and she's out in LA. It's tough, but we talk all the time and will see each other in a few weeks."
