Where Is Chelsea's Wedding?
by Ryan Porter
It's easy to find. You just follow the trail of Bill and Hillary's tears.
Chelsea Clinton's wedding is said to be 12 twelve days away, but the emotional speeches have already begun.
Hillary got sentimental during an interview with NBC in Islamabad, Pakistan, on Sunday.
When asked what
Bill's role would be in the ceremony, rumoured to be slated for Saturday, July 31, in Rhinebeck, New York, she gave a preview of the gushing to come. "You should assume that if he makes it down the aisle in one piece it's going to be a major accomplishment," Hilary laughed. "He is going to be so emotional, as am I." And he's already been through so much, what with Chelsea asking him to lose 15 pounds. He is only a man! He can be broken!
Chelsea, 30, announced her engagement to Marc Mezvinsky, a 32-year-old banker, in November 2009. Since then she's been spotted scoping out the small town, which is a two hour drive north of New York City. Even though the town has been cited as the wedding location on her Wikipedia page, invitations ask that guests--including
Barack and
Michelle Obama,
Oprah Winfrey, and
Steven Spielberg--find accommodations in Manhattan, and await further instructions the week before the wedding.
Hillary wasn't giving any more clues while in Pakistan. "My lips are sealed," she said. "I am under very strict orders not to talk about [the wedding.]" The date troops will leave the Middle East? Sure. The real location of
Osama bin Laden? Maybe. The flavour of Chelsea's wedding cake? That's gonna take some waterboarding.
