So much for the hairdressers on stand-by and the leggings fashion show. When
Lindsay Lohan was released from jail at 1:35 am Monday morning, she was whisked out a backdoor under the cover of night. Cameras didn't even catch a freckle.
The actress is now in a rehab at the UCLA Medical Center, where she will stay for 90 days. Even though she has a little more freedom than during her 14 days of incarceration, where her menu options included Spicy Velveeta Refried Beans and SPAM, she still thinks this is an outrageous way for America to treat its tabloid superspectacles.
"[She] is having a difficult time accepting that she will be in rehab for the next three months," a source tells
People. "She still doesn't think that she needs any help." She also felt she deserved to spend time with her family in between jail and rehab, and by family, we can presume she means the bar staff at Chateau Marmont.
The 24-year-old was originally booked into Morningside Recovery, a rehab in the upper-class commune of Newport Beach. But Lindsay's judge Marsha Revel figured that the facility, which looks more like a beach house than a medical facility, wasn't tough enough to stop a Lohan-class partier, and so Lindsay was reassigned. The UCLA Medical Center also held
Britney Spears when she was committed in 2008.
This is Lindsay's fourth time in rehab, but there's a chance she'll take it seriously, right? Not to say that the rehab where she went rafting through Utah was ineffective. She made it a couple months that time before she was drinking champagne straight from the bottle.
