Miranda Kerr. Where, when, or how many hobbits attended are questions that are yet to be answered. But it definitely involved a lot of name-checking of a certain department store.
Orlando and Miranda told the world through David Jones, an Australian department store Miranda endorses. She was meant to make an appearance at an event on August 3, but the store announced Thursday that she'd backed out to take her honeymoon. "Given the exciting news that Miranda and Orlando have recently wed and will be enjoying their honeymoon together, Miranda will not be with us for the launch," a rep for the chain said.
Miranda personally expressed her regrets. "David Jones very graciously released me during this period so we could celebrate an intimate ceremony and honeymoon together," she said. "I'm very much a part of the David Jones Family and I am very committed to my role. I am enormously grateful to David Jones to have been given this time to enjoy such a special moment in my life." Also, Miranda would like to add, David Jones.
There's nothing else to know about their wedding yet, but I'm sure the wedding rings are lovely and not at all cursed with mind-controlling powers. I'm sure her dress was beautiful, and not sliced by a rapier as Orlando swung by the drapery from one church balcony to the next. And I'm sure Gandalf himself,
