Katie Holmes Hates Canadian Cupcakes
by Ryan Porter
While filming in Toronto, she has a batch of the trendy dessert delivered from New York City, 765 kilometres away.

Someone show
Katie Holmes where the cupcakes are in Toronto. There's The Cupcake Shoppe, Babycake, the Cupcakery, Frostitution. It's a city that loves its fad desserts as much as the next.
But while Kate Holmes is in the centre of the universe* starring as
Jacqueline Kennedy in a History channel mini-series, she's not trusting something as important as cupcakes to the locals. The 31-year-old had a batch imported from New York City,
People reports, because cupcakes just taste that much more scrumptious when you have a monstrous carbon footprint.
Katie's cupcake joint of choice is Isabelle's Curly Cakes, part of Todd English's Food Hall. The chef, Isabelle, is Todd's 16-year-old daughter. Katie ordered the red velvet and grasshopper flavour. I suppose Canadians don't traditionally consider grasshoppers a dessert topping.
