For the love of loose meat sandwiches, Roseanne's Sara Gilbert is finally out. If you read the Enquirer, you know she raises a five-year-old son, Levi, and a two-year-old daughter, Sawyer, with a woman.

Considering she's joining a round-table talk show with fellow celebrity moms Julie Chenbot Chen, Leah Remini, John Mayer's reluctant crush Holly Robinson Peete, Sharon Osbourne, and Broadway's Hairspray star Marissa Jaret Winokur, Sara agreed with the rest of the world that it's time to talk about the other mom she raises her kids with.

She was asked at a press conference to plug the show, called The Talk (cue stink-eye from Barbara Walters), if it's an easier forum to be out on. "This is a whole new world for me," she said.

She went on to talk about the weirdness of "coming out" at 35 when she already has two kids with her partner, TV producer Allison Adler. "I plan to put my heart and soul into this show, and I plan to continue acting, and I don't think it will be a problem," she said on Tuesday (via Entertainment Weekly). "I don't ever really think of things as out or in. I just think I am who I am, and when topics come up that are appropriate, I'll talk about them and share when it seems right."

Sara went on to address why a press release for the show mentioned all of the other women's partners but skimmed over Sara's relationship. "I'm going to be discussing my life more, and I felt that the first place I wanted to do it wasn't in a CBS press release," she says. "It just seemed impersonal, and I felt like I'd rather come in person and talk to you about all that stuff here."

Huh, well I suppose a press conference where she gets nudged into coming out is slightly more personal. It's not as intimate as, say, a People magazine cover. I guess she already got the magazine treatment in the past decade of Enquirer WHO'S GAY!!! covers. Anyway, welcome out Darlene Conner!
