Controversy Over Bikini-Clad Pam About 20 Years Late

That
Pamela Anderson. She's always sticking her neck, and, um, other body parts, out for animals. Pam wanted a permit to debut this new PETA ad in front of Montreal City Hall while she's attending the Just For Laughs fest this week. But she was shut down by the city, because they considered the image "sexist."
As someone whose resume includes a sitcom called
Stacked, Pam fervently disagreed. "In a city that is known for its exotic dancing and for being progressive and edgy, how sad that a woman would be banned from using her own body in a political protest," she said in a statement. "In some parts of the world, women are forced to cover their whole bodies with burqas--is that next? I didn't think that Canada would be so puritanical."
Controversy over sexy PETA ads? So it's not just the PhotoShopping on Pamela's face taking me back to 1995.
