Christopher Gartin, because they were only staring longingly into each other's eyes as friends? Well, Chris's ex-wife Joanne, who just got their divorce rubber-stamped last month, is not cool with this non-date, her stepmom tells Australia's
Woman's Day.
"It's been difficult for Joanne," Robbie Ahlfeld told the estrogen-infused mag (via Radar). "It just seems so bizarre to me because Jo and Jen are such good friends. I find it very strange that Jen would do that." Please, no one tell Robbie she's not helping. This is good stuff.
The mom, who I'm sure is close enough to Jen that it wouldn't be inaccurate to call her the seventh Friend, says Jen's stealing Joanne's kids too, à la

The Hand That Rocks The Cradle. Chris and Jo have two children: Sydney and Flynn.
"Jen is in their lives," Robbie tells the magazine. "She comes to their house and Sydney and Flynn go to her house a lot, to play in the pool. Jen gets on well with the kids and they play together."
For the record, Jen's rep already tried to sell this as a friendship. "Chris and Jennifer have been friends for many years," her rep told
People. "She has had dinner with him dozens and dozens of times." Wow, so that makes this their, what, 37th date? That's already a very datey place.
