Hello! Canada
Biggest Acknowledgement That Pax Exists

Angelina Jolie's interviews for Salt (the movie, not the condiment) have been a little light on the Pax stories. So thank Brad's shorn beard that she tells Hello! Canada about the first time she met her six-year-old son at a Vietnamese orphanage. "We tried to give him a toy," she says. "He gave it back to us because he wasn't used to having personal things. It broke my heart."

It's a trait that is still ingrained in him three years later. "There's something about him that [reveals he] was in an institution when he's dealing with certain issues," she says. "It affects you so much, how you're raised and if you're programmed in such a manner." That's insightful. It's also refreshing to read something about Angelina Jolie that doesn't involve her running into Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston making a baby in a castle.

Also in Hello! Canada:
Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima and soccer star Marko Jaric are loving parenthood now, but when their seven-month-old daughter Valentina was born premature, they had their worries. "We were probably the tallest parents in the hospital with the smallest baby!" Adriana says. "And she's still small, compared with other babies, but she's long!" Take that other babies!

Carrie Underwood kept herself from shedding tears during her wedding by repeating the Pledge of Allegiance. "I must have said it 20 times that night!" she tells People. I fear Mike Fisher's Canadian relatives just think she's, like, really proud to be an American.

Also in People:
Before sweeping off to a sober house at the urging of her new lawyer, Robert Shapiro, Lindsay Lohan tried to hire Stuart V. Goldberg. Well, you just know anyone who spells their name with an initial is going to be an ass, and Stuart was no exception.

He gave People his assessment of Lindsay's situation, describing her as "a fragile, lost child." Lindsay's business manager said she was "disappointed" over the public disclosure. But she's Lindsay Lohan's business manager. Every day is a disappointment.

Most Fun-Filled Suicide Watch

Lindsay Lohan is in such a fragile state, a source tells Star she's on a "24/7 suicide watch." But it's not as glum as it sounds, since she giddily asked for Tony Romo's autograph at Smashbox Studios on Monday, Hollywood Life reported. Who knew suicide watch could be so flirty?

Also in Star: Meryl Streep
, George Clooney, and Matt Damon were all at Emily Blunt and John Krasinski's wedding. Was the theme Oscars in July?
