The celebrated actresses are said to have signed on to star in Mommy & Me.

Actor and director Stanley Tucci will helm the project, which will explore the complicated, but amusing, nature of mother-daughter relationships, Entertainment Tonight reports.

Previously, Streep and Tucci have shared the big screen in a Julie & Julia and The Devil Wears Prada.
