The sadness is for the people who are left behind. It is important to try to be in the here and now so that you can see what you have around you.

get some help for yourself.
Finally don't try to live up to a perfect image. Most women after giving birth have lackluster skin and limp hair for a while, it's perfectly normal, so pamper yourself! The reason that some celebs look so skinny straight after giving birth is more to do with being painfully underweight before they got pregnant and then having a few pounds of fat sucked out of them after! It's not an example that should be followed by any sane person!
If you have just given birth, give yourself a break, relax and enjoy your new baby!
