Actress Lindsay Lohan has said she would like to get back with on/off girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

The 23-year-old star has previously dated the superstar DJ, 32, who is the sister of music producer Mark Ronson and said if they don't get back together, she will go back to boys.

She said: "I never really thought about women before - it kind of just happened with Samantha. It surprised me. We're still in touch.

"We live in the same apartment building in LA and see each other often. She has always been one of my best friends. If I wasn't with Samantha, I would probably be with a boy next.

"She's the only woman I've been attracted to. We love each other. We might reconcile the relationship, maybe. I don't know."

Lohan added that her split with Ronson came because the DJ's family didn't approve of her.

She said: "I think Samantha was growing as a celebrity and a musician, and I think that might have scared her family. But I've always been her biggest supporter and, yeah, I love her."
