Harry Potter star Emma Watson has launched a range of "ethical" clothing.

The actress has helped design a range called Love From Emma for fashion brand People Tree and is donating her fee to craftsmen in developing nations.

The 19-year-old, who stars alongside Daniel Radcliffe in the hit movies, unveiled her line by appearing in a fashion photo shoot.

Watson, who already has contracts with fashion labels Burberry and Chanel, agreed to become creative advisor for People Tree's new range in a bid to bring fair trade and organic fashion to the 16-24 age group.

She revealed: "I was excited by the idea of using fashion as a tool to alleviate poverty and knew it was something I could help make a difference with.

"I think young people like me are becoming increasingly aware of the humanitarian and environmental issues surrounding fast fashion and want to make good choices but there aren't many options out there."

The fashion line, made entirely by hand by fair trade groups using weaving, knitting and embroidery, helping to create livelihoods for disadvantaged groups in Bangladesh, India and Nepal, are set to hit stores in late February.
